This past summer I organized a Lego challenge with my grandchildren here, and my sisters' children who live in another state. It worked like this: One family would create a Lego structure, then post it on Facebook. The other family had to create their own version of that structure, then create a new one and post them both. We went back and forth until we had ten creations. The children got to know their distant cousins a little better, and had a lot of fun with the challenges. They made a lighthouse, a two-headed go-bot, a surfer's beach, and many other things. The first challenge was "The Wall".
This was the best summer activity ever!! Great for long-distance play and getting to know your second cousins or are they 1st cousins once removed?
