My granddaughter wants to be Little Red Riding Hood for Halloween. I found a pattern in the book
Little Things to Sew by Liesl Gibson. Her instructions are clear, and her ideas are simple and creative. You do have to trace each pattern before using it, since they are all printed together. I recommend top-stitching the capes 1/8" all the way around the edge as a finishing touch. Since it's almost as easy to make two things as one, I made one for her younger cousin also.
